Fix My Dish

1. About us

Fix My Dish ("the Service") is operated by Hope White ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you ("you", "user") agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

Fix My Dish provides AI-assisted cooking guidance, including dish rescues and ingredient substitutions. Results are generated by AI and may be inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying suggestions before applying them, especially regarding food safety, allergens, and dietary restrictions.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not: use it unlawfully; commit fraud or send spam; infringe intellectual property; attempt to interfere with security (malware, probing, scraping); or use outputs to create harmful content. You must be of legal age in your country and provide accurate information.

4. AI outputs

You are responsible for your prompts (including photos and descriptions you submit), for verifying outputs, and for ensuring you have rights to any input content. We may moderate, filter, or refuse outputs at our discretion. Outputs may be inaccurate and are not a substitute for professional culinary, nutritional, or medical advice.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Pro plans are offered on a recurring monthly or annual basis. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content we create, is owned by us and protected by IP laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits.

8. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, descriptions). You grant us a limited license to host and process this content solely to provide the Service.

9. Service level

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where this cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your user content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hope White resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
